Install Technician/Mechanic
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installation of commercial equipment on vehicles.
- Welding
- Use of hand tools and other equipment.
- Mechanical skillset.
- Ability to solve problems and find acceptable solutions relating to the installation of equipment.
- Works well with a team.
- Fast paced and ACCURATE.
- Ability to take constructive criticism and be teachable.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Own hand tools or be willing to purchase needed tools
- Willingness to learn.
- Experience as a mechanic/welder required.
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in mig welding required.
Physical Requirements:
- Subject to kneeling, crouching, handling, climbing, walking, sitting, twisting and reaching to perform the essential functions.
- Must be able to lift up to forty (40) pounds and/or move boxes and equipment as needed.
Pay Rate: $20-$25 per flag hour depending on skill level and experience.
THIS POSITION IS BASED ON FLAG HOURS.
