What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Bank Teller position at TruChoice Federal Credit Union?
Are you looking for a fun summer employment opportunity that doesn’t require working nights or weekends? Are you interested in a banking or finance career?
TruChoice is currently looking for a full-time teller position from May through September, or beyond.
The successful candidate will be located in one of our retail offices in the greater Portland area and may be called upon to work out of any of our locations. In this role, you will serve our members through our teller line in-person, phone and electronic access points. You will be empowered to make everyday banking simple for TruChoice members and to build relationships by completing cash and non-cash transactions, suggesting solutions, and resolving problems.
While not required- teller, cash handling and customer service experience are helpful. We are looking for someone who is personable, enthusiastic, shows initiative and is detail oriented.

Job Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Strong communication and phone skills.
- Ability to find solutions and recommend products and services to optimize a member’s experience.
- Organized, able to prioritize and shift gears quickly.
- Friendly upbeat attitude, and a desire to help people.
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in various locations in the greater Portland area.
