Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in the delivery of patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform various nursing procedures, including IV insertion, catheterization, and wound care.
- Assist in triage and emergency situations, utilizing critical thinking skills to prioritize patient needs.
- Engage in continuous professional development and adhere to evidence-based practices.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
- Experience in acute care, critical care, or specialized nursing fields preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and NCQA standards is advantageous.
- Skills in IV infusion, medication administration, phlebotomy, and basic life support are essential.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
