Founder's House of Hope is an assisted living facility for the adult community (ages 18-59) located in the Artesia, CA (near Cerritos area). We are currently seeking Full-Time LVN/Wellness Director to join our management team and lead our Wellness Department. Submit your application today!
Qualifications (non-negotiable):
- Able to clear DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing
- Able to pass pre employment physical and TB test clearance
- High school diploma or GED required
- Flexible scheduling. Position may include weekends and holidays
- Experience medication administration preferred
- Must have valid LVN License (Required)
Job Description:
- Prepares and maintains resident assessments and individualized service plans
- Communicates clearly with Administrator, residents and families of any changes in condition or concerns
- Manages, oversees, and assists personnel in In-service training and medications
- Assures completion of all resident activities of daily living according to ISPs
- Interviews, hires, trains, schedules and supervises all Healthcare staff and facilitates staff meetings and in-service training
- Manages all physician communications, medical updates, and pharmacy cycle changes and orders.
- Coordinates all dietary needs with Dining Coordinator and Dietician
- Manages and maintains all medication orders, inventory and supplies
- Renders emergency medical aid and wound care
- Additional duties as assigned by Administration
