New Horizon Senior Living is an assisted living facility for the elderly community (ages 59 ) located in the Stanton, CA (near Buena Park area). We are currently seeking Full-Time LVN/Wellness Coordinator to join our management team and lead our Wellness Department. Submit your application today!

Qualifications (non-negotiable): 

• Able to clear DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing
• Able to pass pre employment physical and TB test clearance
• High school diploma or GED required
• Flexible scheduling. Position may include weekends and holidays
• Experience medication administration preferred
• Must have valid LVN License (Required)

Job Description: 

• Prepares and maintains resident assessments and individualized service plans
• Communicates clearly with Administrator, residents and families of any changes in condition or concerns
• Manages, oversees, and assists personnel in In-service training and medications
• Assures completion of all resident activities of daily living according to ISPs
• Interviews, hires, trains, schedules and supervises all Healthcare staff and facilitates staff meetings and in-service training
• Manages all physician communications, medical updates, and pharmacy cycle changes and orders.
• Coordinates all dietary needs with Dining Coordinator and Dietician
• Manages and maintains all medication orders, inventory and supplies
• Renders emergency medical aid and wound care
• Additional duties as assigned by Administration
