Position Summary

The Content Producer & Social Media Lead is a hands-on creative role responsible for turning TruBlue Technologies' business goals, campaigns, products, people, and customer stories into compelling video-first content that builds awareness, engagement, and demand.

Video production is the center of gravity for this role. This person will own creative production end-to-end - from concept and creative brief through shoot planning, capture, editing, review, final delivery, publishing, and performance optimization. The role also includes photography and day-to-day social media management, with a strong emphasis on repurposing content across social, web, email, paid media, and sales enablement.

This role will primarily support Professional Safety, where TruBlue is building awareness and demand across emerging markets, while also contributing to key Adventure initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong creative instincts with hands-on production skills, social media fluency, and the ability to learn technical products and audiences quickly.

While business needs may vary, this role is expected to focus approximately 75% on Professional Safety and 25% on Adventure.

Core Responsibilities

Video & Photo Production

–   Own video and photo production from creative brief through final approved asset, including concepting, shot planning, production, editing, review, and delivery.

–   Plan and lead shoots, including creative concepts, shot lists, equipment needs, locations, lighting, audio, and direction of employees, customers, partners, and other on-camera talent.

–   Capture and edit short-form and long-form video for social media, website, email, paid media, sales enablement, product education, and other marketing channels.

–   Create product photography, action/lifestyle imagery, customer stories, testimonials, training and how-to content, product demonstrations, manufacturing and behind-the-scenes content, R&D and innovation content, and event coverage.

–   Capture content in a range of environments, including customer sites, training facilities, climbing gyms, manufacturing operations, trade shows, outdoor locations, and the TruBlue office.

–   Repurpose existing photo and video assets into new formats, stories, and channel-specific content to extend the value of each shoot and asset.

–   Use AI-assisted and AI-generated creative tools where appropriate to expand creative possibilities and production efficiency while maintaining brand, technical, and safety credibility.

–   Partner with external photographers, videographers, agencies, or other creative resources when additional production support is needed.

Social Media Management & Optimization

–   Own day-to-day execution of TruBlue Technologies' social media channels across Professional Safety and Adventure.

–   Develop and manage social content calendars and adapt creative for the role and audience of each platform, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

–   Write and adapt social copy, captions, hooks, and supporting content using approved brand messaging, voice, and technical guidance.

–   Coordinate reviews and approvals, schedule and publish content, and manage community engagement and audience interaction.

–   Monitor performance and use data to improve content strategy, creative formats, audience quality, reach, engagement, and downstream marketing impact.

–   Identify high-performing content and creative learnings that can be applied across paid media, email, website, sales enablement, and other channels.

–   Continuously research platform trends, creators, brands, competitors, and emerging formats to identify relevant opportunities for TruBlue.

Creative Strategy & Collaboration

–   Collaborate with Campaign Marketing Managers to translate campaign objectives, target audiences, positioning, and approved messaging into compelling creative concepts and content plans.

–   Help establish and evolve the creative direction for TruBlue photo, video, social, and supporting visual content while maintaining consistency with the broader brand.

–   Develop content concepts and pillars when campaign inputs are less developed by asking the right questions, researching the audience, and working with internal experts to identify the strongest stories and angles.

–   Proactively identify content opportunities across manufacturing, product development, customer applications, events, employee expertise, and day-to-day company activity.

–   Conduct customer, employee, partner, and internal expert interviews to uncover stories, insights, and proof points for content.

–   Balance highly creative brand content with practical content such as product photography, instructional videos, training demonstrations, and technical education.

–   Help establish repeatable, efficient processes for content capture, review, repurposing, and production across the organization.

Content Operations

–   Provide light, fast-turn graphic design and production support for day-to-day marketing needs, such as adapting creative for web, email, events, technical materials, and other marketing channels.

–   Manage content through review and approval, ensuring final assets reflect approved messaging, technical requirements, brand standards, and appropriate file formats.

–   Maintain an organized library of final photos, videos, source files, and supporting creative assets in the company's shared asset-management environment.

–   Manage multiple content priorities and production deadlines while proactively communicating status, risks, and needs.

–   Travel occasionally for customer site visits, trade shows, training facilities, product demonstrations, and other content-capture opportunities.

Requirements

–   8 years of hands-on experience in video production, content creation, social media, creative production, or a related field.

–   Portfolio demonstrating strong personally produced video and photography work, including clear examples of hands-on shooting and editing.

–   Strong video storytelling, shooting, and editing skills across both short-form and longer-form content.

–   Strong photography skills, including the ability to capture products, people, and action in both controlled and real-world environments.

–   Working knowledge of camera operation, composition, lighting, audio capture, and on-location production.

–   Experience creating platform-appropriate social content and using performance data to improve future creative.

–   Strong creative instincts with the ability to translate business goals, audiences, and messaging into engaging visual stories.

–   Strong writing and editing skills for social copy, hooks, captions, interview questions, and supporting content.

–   Ability to learn technical products, terminology, customer applications, and messaging guardrails quickly.

–   Self-starter who can independently own work from concept through completion, manage multiple priorities, communicate proactively, and collaborate effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

–   Experience creating content for B2B, industrial, manufacturing, technology, safety, or outdoor recreation brands, including LinkedIn or other professional channels.

–   Experience with product photography, action sports, outdoor production, documentary-style storytelling, or other field-based production.

–   Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva, InDesign, or similar creative tools; graphic design, layout, motion, or web capabilities are a plus.
