- Perform high-quality home repair projects as the most experienced craftsman on every job
- Represent TruBlue in customers' homes — clear communication, respectful conduct, clean work
- Provide on-site estimates for additional work when appropriate
- Support day-to-day operations: scheduling input, materials, quality control
- Document work with photos and complete job paperwork
- As the team grows, lead and mentor new Tru-Pro® technicians
- Uphold TruBlue's high standard of professionalism and customer care
Common Projects Include
- Bathroom and kitchen upgrades
- Drywall repair and finishing
- Flooring installation and repair
- General carpentry — trim, molding, built-ins
- Interior and exterior painting
- Basic plumbing and electrical work
- Tile installation and repair
- Door and window repair
- Deck, fence, and gate repair
- Senior safety upgrades — grab bars, ramps, accessible fixtures
Physical Requirements
- Regularly lift up to 50 pounds
- Climb ladders and work at heights
- Work in attics and crawl spaces
- Kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Drive to multiple job sites daily
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of hands-on residential home repair or remodeling experience
- Broad multi-trade skill set with strong carpentry foundation
- Strong customer communication and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience leading or mentoring other technicians is preferred
- Comfortable using a smartphone for photos and scheduling apps
- Valid Texas driver's license, clean driving record, reliable transportation, and full toolset
- Fluent in English; bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Willing to complete background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen
