Tru-Tone is seeking a professional and personable quick-learner to join our Showroom and Customer Support Team. This is an in-person and online customer facing position. Personality, communication, organization, and software skills are essential. This is a part time position and hours may vary depending on the season.
Position: Showroom Attendant/Customer Service
About the Job:
Part-time (15-30 hours per week depending on availability and need )
Start Date: May 1
Compensation: $20/ hour.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Manage showroom appointments and walk-ins, and assist customers with sales and support.
- Clean, organize and maintain showroom and displays.
- Provide recommendations and answer general inquiries.
- Answer phones and provide phone based customer support.
- Provide online customer support for email and direct messages.
- Monitor and communicate with managers regarding customer concerns, experience and feedback
- Assist with order fulfillment and other warehouse tasks when necessary
- Perform other general administrative tasks when necessary
Qualifications/Skills
- Customer Service and Communication skills (listening, engaging in conversation, conflict resolution, etc.)
- Problem solving and adaptability
- Multi-tasking, organization, and attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly, and to retain and recall detailed information.
- Software (Apple OS, Shopify, ReAmaze, Inventory and Shipping systems); and phone skills
- Basic math proficiency and calculator skills
Bonus Points
- Basic understanding of lighting or electrical systems.
- Creativity or artistic talent
