Responsibilities
- Accurately process cash register operations using POS systems like Aloha and Micros to handle sales, refunds, and voids.
- Manage customer orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy in food service order management and timely delivery to tables or pickup stations.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff with basic food handling and prep duties to maintain quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to sanitation, food safety management, and general cleanliness protocols.
- Support upselling efforts by recommending menu items or specials to enhance sales opportunities.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly while assisting with bussing tables and sanitation duties to uphold hygiene standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred; food industry knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable; basic math skills are essential for processing transactions accurately.
- Experience in food preparation, serving, cashiering, or retail sales transactions will be advantageous.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is required.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
