Duties
- Operate laundry machines such as washers and dryers to process linens, towels, and guest clothing with precision and care
- Sort laundry items by fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
- Perform dry cleaning procedures for delicate or special items following established protocols
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and workspaces to uphold hygiene standards
- Assist with the collection and delivery of laundry items across different hotel departments or guest rooms as needed
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is required
- Follow safety guidelines and proper handling procedures for chemicals used in cleaning processes
Qualifications
- Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending comfortably
