Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including cleaning schedules, staff assignments, and quality control measures.
- Lead, motivate, and train cleaning staff to ensure adherence to sanitation protocols, safety regulations, and service standards.
- Oversee industrial and commercial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning, carpet maintenance, window washing, and custodial services.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement to ensure seamless operations.
- Enforce safety procedures related to sanitation practices, chemical handling, and equipment use to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to monitor cleanliness levels, address deficiencies promptly, and uphold hygiene standards.
- Foster excellent customer service by addressing guest or client concerns swiftly and professionally while maintaining team morale.
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in housekeeping or custodial management within hospitality or commercial settings.
- Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning methods and janitorial best practices.
- Strong background in sanitation procedures, safety regulations compliance, and cleaning & sanitation management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while communicating clearly with staff at all levels.
- Experience with laundry operations is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards or commercial cleaning environments enhances suitability for this role.
- Previous management experience in team supervision ensures you can lead with confidence and foster a collaborative work atmosphere.
