Duties
- Prepare and serve breakfast items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation meet high standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to uphold health standards and prevent contamination
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and warming stations
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as slicing, assembling, or portioning ingredients as needed
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while providing friendly in-person customer service
- Handle weight-based food items responsibly, ensuring proper portioning and food handling practices are followed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures in food service settings
- Experience with food preparation, serving, and catering within the hospitality or food industry
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and handle manual tasks such as lifting or carrying food items
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately
