Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation meet high standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen stations, and food service equipment in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures
- Operate kitchen and food service equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, toasters, coffee machines, and POS (Point of Sale) systems for processing cash transactions
- Assist with food handling and preparation tasks, adhering to food safety management protocols
- Engage in in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests
- Follow manual handling procedures when lifting or moving heavy supplies or equipment to ensure safety
- Support catering or special event setups as needed, ensuring timely delivery and presentation of breakfast offerings
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments, particularly in fine dining or restaurant settings
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety sanitizing procedures
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and POS systems for order processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests in person
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Experience with food handling, catering, or culinary work within the food industry is highly desirable
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and perform manual handling tasks comfortably
