️ What You’ll Do:
Our Custodian / Houseperson is essential to maintaining a welcoming, spotless environment for both guests and staff. You’ll keep public areas clean, support the housekeeping team, and assist with small maintenance tasks to ensure the hotel operates smoothly.
Your daily duties will include:
Cleaning public spaces: lobbies, elevators, restrooms, hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and pool deck
Emptying trash and maintaining cleanliness in all guest-facing and back-of-house areas
Delivering and collecting linens and assisting with stocking supply rooms
Helping housekeepers with tasks such as making beds or flipping mattresses
Performing light maintenance tasks (e.g., plunging toilets, replacing showerheads or AC units)
Delivering guest amenities like cribs and rollaways
Identifying and reporting any safety hazards or repair needs
Completing a task checklist and walkthrough with a manager at the end of each shift
Assisting with special projects and stepping in where needed
What We’re Looking For:
Reliable, hardworking individuals with strong attention to detail
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
Team players who enjoy helping others and take pride in their work
Physically capable of standing, walking, lifting, and bending throughout your shift
High school diploma or equivalent preferred—but not required
Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is a plus
