Hotel Breakfast Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Hotel Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in providing guests with a warm, welcoming breakfast experience, ensuring the breakfast area is clean, well-stocked, and efficiently managed. The ideal candidate will have a passion for guest service, food presentation, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or related roles such as catering, restaurant service, or culinary arts is highly desirable. Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly displayed
• Replenish food and beverage items as needed throughout the breakfast service
• Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment
• Assist guests with inquiries regarding breakfast offerings and hotel amenities
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper handling procedures
• Restock supplies such as utensils, napkins, condiments, and beverages to ensure smooth operation
• Clear tables and assist with bussing to maintain a tidy environment
• Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks if required
• Handle guest requests courteously and efficiently to promote guest satisfaction
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, catering, restaurant work, or hospitality preferred; experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work mornings during breakfast hours; weekend availability may be required
• Basic cleaning skills including bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness of the breakfast area
• Friendly demeanor with a professional appearance and attitude
• Ability to lift moderate loads (up to 25 pounds) and stand for extended periods during shifts
