As the front desk supervisor, you will be a key player in the hotel leadership team and development of the hotel itself. Duties will include:
- Train, coach, and support associates, ensuring compliance in accordance with established brand or hotel standards
- Assist with staffing and ensuring appropriate front desk coverage at all times
- Oversee all aspects of front desk operations while ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction is provided by both yourself and front desk associates
- Review daily occupancy and inventory levels to ensure proper rate levels and strategies are in place
- Act as manager on duty and complete daily shift reports
- Respond to and resolve guest issues as presented to you
- Keep open communication with all other departments regarding daily operations, guest issues, and complaints
- Assist with other duties as needed or assigned by management
- Assist in 24 hour shuttle coverage
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- One year of previous hotel front desk experience required, Hilton preferred
- Schedule varies and will include days, evenings, overnights, holidays and weekends
- Professional appearance
- Ability to write, read, and communicate in English
- Reliable transportation
