Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install, maintain, and upgrade appliances and mechanical systems in various settings, including commercial kitchens and industrial environments.
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues.
- Conduct air conditioning repairs, HVAC system servicing, and refrigeration maintenance to ensure energy efficiency and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to lead maintenance projects, document work performed, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, and mechanical systems repair.
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues.
- Hands-on experience with appliance installation, kitchen equipment maintenance, and HVAC system repair is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of maintenance, repair operations (MRO), construction practices, and equipment repair techniques.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership qualities that enable effective team collaboration and problem resolution in fast-paced environments.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely.
