What You'll Do

• Operate, monitor, and control plant systems from the control room
• Execute plant startups, shutdowns, and equipment switching procedures
• Respond to alarms, troubleshoot equipment issues, and support system reliability
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment
• Coordinate maintenance activities while maintaining operational and commercial commitments
• Develop and follow operating procedures to support safe and efficient plant performance
• Promote a strong safety culture through compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, hot work, electrical safety, PPE requirements, and other safety programs
• Train and mentor team members while continuing to develop technical expertise

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2 years of power plant, industrial, or related operations/maintenance experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Basic computer proficiency
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must successfully complete the Power Plant Operations and Maintenance Selection System (POSS/MASS) assessment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders, stairways, and elevated structures up to 75 feet

• Ability to work in confined spaces and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Must be able to wear respiratory protection and other required PPE
