Position Summary
The Payroll Processor is responsible for coordinating and processing payroll activities for US and expatriate employees across multiple states and countries. This role ensures accurate calculations of local and international compensation packages, tax equalization, mobility allowances, and compliance with payroll regulations. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience working with cross border compensation and vendor partners.
Job Requirements
• The purpose of this position is to perform accounting activities and assume responsibility for maintenance of ledger accounts.
• Understand and analyze understand the activities being performed with respect to theory and company policy
• May perform supervisory and training duties
• Perform general accounting and other related duties in daily administration of the accounting department
• Maintain general ledger to include the preparation of journal entries, coding of invoices, accounts analysis and reconciliation, closing books monthly, and setting up new accounts
• Monitor accounts receivables collection from individuals and/or institutions, interface with bank; reconcile customer accounts; may also require booking of sales
• Maintain accounting records for fixed assets
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• 5-8 years of payroll processing experience, with at least 1–2 years in expatriate or global payroll will be helpful.
• Strong understanding of:
o US and/or Global compensation structures
o Tax equalization concepts
• Proficiency in payroll systems (Workday, SAP, ADP, Oracle, or similar).
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with complex data sets.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with global mobility programs or international assignments
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or FPC.
