Contract Recruiter – Energy, Renewables & Data Centers (Hybrid)

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Contract Recruiter to support hiring across multiple departments within a fast-paced, mission-driven energy organization. This role is focused on identifying, engaging, and hiring top-tier talent for specialized positions across renewable energy, power, infrastructure, and data center operations.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record recruiting for technical and niche roles, with direct experience supporting hiring initiatives within the data center and energy sectors. You will partner closely with hiring managers across Development, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Capital Markets to meet both immediate and future hiring demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
- Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates for hard-to-fill and highly specialized roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs and develop effective talent acquisition plans.
- Manage 4–8 active requisitions simultaneously while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs.
- Support both backfill and growth hiring initiatives across multiple functions.
- Provide regular updates and market feedback to hiring managers and key stakeholders.
- Ensure an efficient, organized, and positive recruitment process from initial outreach through hire.
Required Qualifications
- 3–10 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Must have experience recruiting within the data center industry, including technical, engineering, construction, infrastructure, commissioning, operations, or related functions.
- Experience recruiting within the energy sector, with renewable energy experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success sourcing and engaging passive candidates for niche and difficult-to-fill roles.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting for renewable energy, power generation, transmission, battery storage, or energy infrastructure projects.
- Experience supporting hiring within Engineering, Development, Supply Chain, Construction, Capital Projects, or Capital Markets teams.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and advanced sourcing techniques.
