TRS Craft Services is seeking night shift - Metal Sorters to join our client's team in Denver, Colorado.**Willing to train candidates who are mechanically inclined and possess knowledge of various hand and power tools. **In this role you will transport scrap materials throughout the yard, feed conveyors and other equipment, sort, stack, bundle and stamp materials, and perform other activities to assist process and machine operations.Maintaining and promoting a safe, healthy and injury-free environment is imperative.Keeps work area clean and ready to go dailyAssists shredder mechanics in changing out conveyors, bearing shafts and greasingPick copper and ASR to ensure that quality material is shipped to our customersCompleting manual labor tasks outside in all weather elementsAdhere to all appropriate Standard Operating ProceduresObserve and follow all safety rules and regulations on siteNotify appropriate personnel of any procedural abnormalities including faulty operation, defective equipment and all other unusual conditions.Wear PPE gear at all times including hard hat, safety glasses, and metatarsal boots while on siteAssists in meeting monthly production goalsPerforms other duties as they might be assignedRequirementsNo experience necessary but previous work experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar scrapyard environment will be considered an assetAble to meet the physical demands of the position including standing, walking, sitting, climbing, crawling, kneeling, bending, moderate to heavy lifting, pushing and pulling up to 40lbsMechanically inclinedKnowledge of various hand and power toolsSelf-motivated: Initiates and takes action before being required to do soStrong communication skills – communicates clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, and over mobile radio devicesUses time efficiently, works safely, and ensures everyone around them is working safelyStrong command of the English language both written and spokenScheduleNight ShiftMonday - Saturday.Shifts may range 8-12 hours.Pay: $22/hrLength of assignment: Long Term#ZRGrenville TRS Staffing Solutions are an equal opportunities employer, and we welcome you to provide OFCCP data voluntarily hereCompany DescriptionOur recruiters are highly experienced in finding skilled craft professionals across construction, engineering, operations & maintenance, project services, commissioning and shutdown/outage needs.
