What are the responsibilities and job description for the University Photographer position at Troy University?
The University Photographer serves as a member of the University Relations team. He or she is responsible for conceiving, executing and delivering professional-quality photography that aligns with the mission of Marketing and Communication.
The University photographer will cover a variety of indoor and outdoor events and collaborate with all campus partners.
This position requires availability on nights and weekends, as well as availability to travel to assignments.
Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in photography, videography, design, art, communication, or related field.
2. Five years of full-time, professional experience.
3. Supervisory experience.
4. Experience in digital asset management systems for archiving, tagging, delivering, and posting images.
5. Demonstrated understanding of copyrights and talent releases in higher education photography.
6. Demonstrated skills in lighting, shoot direction, composition and editing for publication, and in use of photography-related software, particularly Adobe.
