Responsibilities of the LPN Unit Manager:
Supervise and lead a team of nursing staff, ensuring they provide high-quality care to patients
Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and ensure that care is delivered in accordance with patient needs and facility policies
Manage patient care, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
Coordinate with physicians, residents, and families to provide personalized care
Ensure that all nursing staff adhere to best practices in infection control, patient safety, and other healthcare standards
Provide training, guidance, and support to nursing staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and professional development
Handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as staff scheduling, documentation, and reporting
Monitor patient progress and report changes in patient conditions to appropriate medical professionals
Assist in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery and patient outcomes
Qualifications for LPN Unit Manager:
Current LPN license in the state of Ohio
Proven leadership experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting
Strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills
Ability to effectively manage a team and resolve conflicts
Compassionate, patient-focused with a commitment to providing outstanding care
Previous experience as an LPN in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
