Office Assistant/Front Desk - Full-Time Clinics

Troy Regional is seeking a Physician Office Assistant to support our dynamic Physician Clinics. This essential role is perfect for someone who is organized, personable, and thrives in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and register patients for clinic appointments

• Manage check-out procedures and schedule follow-up visits.

• Create and maintain accurate patient charts and files

• Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner

• Coordinate with Central Scheduling and Surgery departments

• Handle pre-certifications and insurance verifications

• Ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and patients to deliver high-quality service

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Comfortable using computers; quick to learn new software systems

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred

• At least 1 year of medical knowledge or front office experience in a healthcare setting

• Strong independent judgment and ability to multitask

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Friendly, professional, and positive attitude
