What are the responsibilities and job description for the K-8 School Behavior Interventionist position at Troy Elementary School?
Troy School is looking to fill a behavior interventionist position. This is a full-time position up to 7.5 hours per day, school session.
Specific Position Requirements/Qualifications: Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work effectively within a team environment and a willingness to participate in training opportunities; ability to collect, manage, and work with a team to reflect on data. Having a strong physical stamina, a positive, energetic attitude, and a willingness and experience to work with students is a must. Candidate must have an Associate’s degree, preferably in education, human services, or a related field, and a minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in working with students who have significant social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Candidate must also be certified in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or get certified upon hire.
Salary & Benefits: As per Support Staff Agreement. Hourly rate between $22.35 and $24.00, depending on previous experience.
