Summary:
The primary role of the Equipment Operator is to remove snow through the use of heavy machinery and to apply de-icing product.
Essential Functions:

- Remove snow through the use of heavy equipment, such as wheel loaders, skid loaders, and back hoes.
- Apply de-icing products
- Report repairs to vehicles and equipment
- Enter data via GoLMN
Competencies:
- Proficient in the operation of wheel loaders, back hoes, skid loaders, by multiple manufacturers and with containment box attachments.
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment
- Strong Communication Skills

Work Environment:
This position performs all work outside in winter weather. They may be exposed to extreme temperatures and wind chills. They will be working in snowy and icy conditions. Work is performed at all hours of the day and night. Employees must be available 24/7.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body; be able to work in various positions, including stooping, standing, bending over, kneeling and squatting for short periods of time; sitting for extended periods of time with the ability to take breaks as needed; be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks; and be able to occasionally lift 50 pounds of weight.
Required Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent work experience. Previous experience with operating heavy machinery.
