Trout Creative Thinking is an independent brand and creative agency founded in Australia more
than 30 years ago. Today, we work across Australia and the United States, helping organizations
build distinctive brands and deliver marketing that drives real business growth.
In the U.S., Trout partners closely with the Reece Group – one of the world’s leading plumbing,
HVAC, and building products suppliers. While we collaborate deeply with Reece’s marketing
teams, we operate as an external agency, bringing independent strategy, brand thinking, and
creative expertise.
Our Dallas office serves as the hub for Trout’s U.S. growth. As we continue to expand, we’re
looking for a Senior Account Executive to help manage marketing programs and client initiatives
while working closely with leadership, strategy, and creative teams.
This role reports to the Group Account Director and is ideal for someone with agency experience
who is a strong doer and emerging client leader - someone who can build trusted relationships,
understand brand and business context, and deliver work that is both high quality and
commercially sound.

What You’ll Do
Lead Day-to-Day Client Work
- Be the go-to for project management and communication
- Run status meetings and manage follow-ups
- Build strong client relationships
- Develop a strong understanding of the client’s business, industry, and priorities
Drive Projects from Start to Finish
- Manage timelines and workflows
- Ensure work is on brief, on time, and on budget
- Maintain awareness of scope and budget, flagging risks early and ensuring commercially sound delivery
- Support production support as needed, partnering with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth delivery
Partner with Strategy Creative
- Collaborate with strategists and designers
- Ensure alignment with brand strategy
- Contribute ideas to improve the work
Think Beyond Execution
- Act as an extension of the client team
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve the work, process, or outcomes
- Translate performance into insights
What We’re Looking For
- At least 4–6 years of experience in an agency (preferred) or brand-side marketing role
- Strong project management skills
- Confident communicator
- Experience with creative teams
- Detail-oriented and proactive
- Commercial awareness
