Seeking a motivated individual to join the property management team at Trotwood Farm. Ideal candidate will have experience in a landscaping an property maintenance and setting. Position will be responsible for the day to day upkeep of the property.
Responsibilities:
Exterior Ground Maintenance
- Landscaping, garden areas and hardscapes maintenance
- Snow removal and road grading
- Provide safe and attractive environment
- Prune trees and shrubs
- Weed control and leaf and debris removal
General Facilities and Equipment Maintenance
- Routine checks of mechanical systems within buildings
- Maintenance and cleanliness of buildings
- Routine maintenance and repair of equipment
- Monitor and watering plants and sprinkler systems
- Litter and trash collection on property
Equipment Operation:
- Ability to utilize ground maintenance tools including mowers, string trimmers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, chainsaw, snow removal equipment, tractors, salt spreaders, etc.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Required Experience:
At least 1-3 years of experience in landscaping/commercial property maintenance. Experience in general carpentry, plumbing, HVAC or electrical trades is a plus but not required.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to learn systems, programming and operations
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Able to work independently or as part of a team to accomplish assigned tasks
- Ability to perform manual tasks that may require lifting heavy objects
General Requirements:
- Possess and maintain a valid drivers license
- High School diploma or equivalent
