Shipper & Receiver / General Mechanic
Warminster, PA
Hourly Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 (negotiable up to $30.00 depending on experience)
Seeking an individual for the Shipper & Receiver position (60% of time) who is also interested in the General Mechanic position (40% of time).
Responsibilities:
S&R Job Responsibilities
- Offloading of trucks utilizing a Fork Lift and/or Crane.
- Gathering associated receiving / shipping paperwork (to forward to Purchasing Assistant Manager).
a. Bills of Lading
b. Packing List - Wood Crate Building (minimal).
- Shrink Wrap, etc. packaging of skids.
- Loading packaged equipment onto a truck.
- Report to the purchasing manager.
Mechanic Job Responsibilities
- Reading drawings that locate devices on a frame.
- Drilling and Tapping holes in a frame to mount brackets / devices.
- Mounting brackets, frames and product in a level & plumb orientation.
- Piping / Tubing from mounted devices to termination points / other devices.
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years in mechanical experience mounting equipment to base frames, control panels, etc. (depending upon interview, this requirement can be waved).
- Overtime rate 1.5X when required.
- The Shipping and Receiving part of the position requires knowing how to operate a forklift.
