Role: Senior QA Automation Engineer (Playwright)
Location: Chicago, IL 60604 (Onsite – Local Candidates Only)
Experience: 13 Years
Job Type: Contract/W2 (Replacement Role)
Experience Required:
- 13 years overall IT experience
- Minimum 10 years in Automation Testing
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Playwright
Key Requirements:
- Strong expertise in test automation frameworks and design
- Deep hands-on experience with Playwright for UI automation
- Solid understanding of end-to-end testing, regression, and CI/CD integration
- Experience working in enterprise environments (Banking/Financial domain)
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder interaction skills
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright
- Execute and manage end-to-end automated test suites
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Identify, track, and resolve defects efficiently
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation strategy
