Location: Mountainview, CA or Plano, TX
Duration: Long-Term

Position: DevSecOps Engineer
Location: Mountainview, CA or Plano, TX

Hands-on cloud native programming - IaC, AWS serverless, terraform cloud formation, python
Networking concepts, VPC, TCP protocols.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage hybrid cloud and on-premises network infrastructure.
- Lead the migration and integration of network services into AWS.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or GO.
- Proactively identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure network connectivity and performance.
- Create and maintain documentation.
- Participate in on-call rotation for support as necessary
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
- Stay current with the latest networking technologies and security threats.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in network engineering.
- Extensive experience with AWS networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, etc.).
- AWS development and microservices automation experience.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Go for network automation.
- DevOps or DevSecOps experience with CI/CD
- AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with container networking (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP)
- Palo Alto or ZScaler experience is a Plus
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
