Role Description
Tropix Event Center is seeking a full-time Bartender to join our on-site team in Rochester, NY. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring excellent customer service, assisting with food orders, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and contributing to memorable guest experiences at various events hosted at the venue.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills for creating a positive guest experience
- Experience in bartending and knowledge of preparing and serving a variety of beverages
- Proficiency in food and beverage service, including mixing cocktails, serving drinks, and adhering to safety and quality standards
- Cash handling skills, including accurately processing payments and maintaining cash registers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage time effectively, and handle high-pressure situations
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of alcohol laws and regulations, with a valid license or certification for serving alcohol (if required)
- Previous experience in a hospitality or events setting is a plus
