Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and standards
- Maintain food quality, portioning, and presentation consistency
- Assist with prep work including cutting, portioning, stocking, and labeling
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with Hawaiʻi Department of Health regulations
- Restock and organize inventory throughout shifts
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Follow all food safety and workplace safety procedures
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Food Handler Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
