Position Summary
The Pricing Coordinator supports Tropicana Supermarkets’ multi-store pricing program by coordinating cost updates, maintaining pricing databases, and ensuring price changes and promotions are implemented accurately and on time. This role is the primary link between the Corporate Pricing team and store leadership for pricing matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and organize supplier cost updates, deal sheets, and promotional files.
- Maintain and update pricing databases and internal pricing spreadsheets.
- Coordinate implementation of regular price changes, promotions, and seasonal programs.
- Work closely with the Data Entry Specialist (Pricing) to ensure timely and accurate data entry.
- Communicate price changes, promotions, and corrections to store management and store pricing associates.
- Support the setup and rollout of new item pricing and ad programs across all stores.
- Prepare standard pricing reports and summaries for the Head of Pricing and leadership.
- Identify and flag pricing issues, discrepancies, and trends for follow-up and resolution.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in retail, grocery, data entry, or administrative/coordination roles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numerical data.
- Proficiency with Excel and/or Google Sheets (sorting, filtering, basic formulas).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication abilities.
Preferred:
- Experience with POS or retail pricing systems.
- Background in grocery or multi-unit retail.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
