Duties
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including PAR POS for customer transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with a friendly demeanor.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining inventory levels as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food service industry or quick service/fast food restaurant is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math applications.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
