Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs, including product demos and answering questions about store merchandise
- Operate the cash register (POS system), handle retail sales transactions accurately, and manage cash drawer handling with integrity
- Support inventory management by stocking products, conducting stock counts, and assisting with product demos to educate customers about features and benefits
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing concerns promptly, ensuring a positive shopping experience
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for leadership opportunities
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs
- Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, cash handling procedures, and retail store product knowledge
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create a friendly shopping environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours as needed
