Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service throughout their visit
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care
- Handle retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning tables, counters, equipment, and food preparation zones
- Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper food handling and preparation procedures
- Process cash and card payments efficiently while managing cash handling responsibilities with accuracy
- Assist with food preparation tasks to support quick service delivery during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not required; a passion for customer service is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Barista experience or beverage service background is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
