What You’ll Do

Guest Experience

• Greet guests with a smile and deliver “Unparalleled Hospitality”
• Take accurate orders, make recommendations, and help guests feel welcome
• Create a positive atmosphere by using “Tropitude” — energy, friendliness, and fun

Food & Smoothie Prep

• Prepare fresh ingredients and assemble menu items to brand standards
• Make smoothies consistently and accurately
• Maintain food safety and sanitation practices at all time
• Keep prep stations stocked, clean, and organized

Café Operations

• Operate the register, handle payments, and follow cash-handling procedures
• Perform regular daily cleaning: kitchen, dining area, restrooms, and workstations
• Follow opening, shift, and closing responsibilities
• Support your team and jump into any position as needed

• Must be legally eligible to work within state and federal guidelines

Physical Requirements

• Stand/walk for the full duration of your shift
• Lift/carry up to 25 lbs (ice, trash, boxes, etc.)
• Work in a fast-paced café environment
• Regular face-to-face interaction with guests and team members

Schedule Expectations

• Flexible scheduling
• Some early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays may be needed
• Shifts typically range 4–8 hours

It started on a beach in Florida. The calm gulf waters, friends enjoying games in the sand and a need for replenishment from the warm Florida sun. We started by blending fruits and vegetables together to create unique and refreshing smoothies. And customers lined up for our tasty creations. Then in 1997, we opened our first cafe in Tallahassee, Florida. Guests now had a place to sit and relax while we made their favorite smoothies. Two years later, we added a range of wholesome food options to complement our smoothies, all made fresh. We started as a destination for flavor, and it’s a proud heritage that we continue today. We are guided by a simple belief: when you eat better, you feel better. Tropical Smoothie Cafe’s menu boasts bold, flavorful smoothies with a healthy appeal, all made-to-order with quality ingredients. We find that real fruits, veggies and juices just taste better.
