Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in De Ridder, LA for an Owner Operator at TROPHY TRUCKING SERVICES, LLC. The Owner Operator will be responsible for safely operating company-assigned vehicles to transport goods, managing delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries, and maintaining compliance with federal and state motor carrier safety regulations. Routine vehicle maintenance, loading and unloading of goods, and maintaining accurate logbooks and delivery records are essential tasks of the role. Additionally, the position includes ongoing communication with dispatch and clients to ensure exceptional service.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of vehicle operations, maintenance, and safety regulations
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented approach
- Time management and organizational skills to maintain delivery schedules
- Ability to work independently and solve problems in a fast-paced setting
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and clean driving record
- Prior experience as an Owner Operator or in commercial trucking is preferred
- Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks when required
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal transportation regulations is a plus
