Position Overview:
Trophy Point Investment Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Bookkeeper with experience in real estate lending or mortgage lending. This role involves managing all aspects of the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and financial record maintenance. The ideal candidate will support the finance team by ensuring smooth financial operations and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing:
- Review, code, and process invoices for payment.
- Verify accuracy and compliance with company policies and agreements.
Vendor Management:
- Maintain vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Prepare and manage vendor statements and payment schedules.
Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Assist in month-end closing processes and reconciliation.
Reporting & Compliance:
- Generate reports related to accounts payable activity and outstanding liabilities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
Summary of Duties:
- Process invoices and payment requests accurately and timely.
- Maintain vendor records and manage relationships.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare weekly and monthly AP reports.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Bookkeeper in a real estate or mortgage lending company.
- Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and accounting principles.
- Software Skills: Must be proficient in QBO (QuickBooks Online).
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy.
- Independence: Ability to work remotely while managing multiple priorities.
