Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Tennis Facility Maintenance Technician to ensure our courts and surrounding grounds are kept in top condition. This role is essential to providing a safe, clean, and professional environment for players, coaches, and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily maintenance of tennis courts, including cleaning, sweeping, and debris removal
- Wash courts as needed during warmer months
- Inspect court surfaces and complete minor repairs as needed
- Maintain nets, posts, windscreens, fencing, and lighting systems
- Dry courts after rain or fog to playable condition
- Maintain benches, tables, and chairs for member use
- Dust and vacuum the tennis office on a weekly basis
- Perform landscaping duties such as weed control and general groundskeeping
- Ensure proper drainage and address weather-related wear and damage
- Assist with setup and breakdown for tournaments and events
- Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in safe working condition
- Report major repair needs or safety hazards to management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous maintenance, groundskeeping, or facility experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of tennis court surfaces and upkeep is a plus
- Ability to operate maintenance equipment such as blowers and rollers
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Schedule:
Flexible schedule with primarily early mornings, including weekends and holidays as needed. 20–25 hours per week.
