Plantation Lakes Golf Club is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of a Server! Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate attention to all guests upon seating
- Describe specials of the day to guests; answer questions regarding any menu item and offer suggestions when appropriate
- Take food and beverage orders from guests and deliver food promptly after preparation
- Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction and replenish items as needed
- Participate in pre-shift meetings and taste tests
- Maintain an organized workstation and side work duties
- Accountable for checks and cash transactions; utilize Point of Sale system
- Follow established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders
- Follow established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques
- Practice tray service for all food and beverage service
- Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
- Perform other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years of serving experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to meet state age requirements for handling alcohol for this position
