Role Type:
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)
Pay:
$15.16 - $17.00 per hour
General Purpose:
Performs all recreation duties and activities related to facility operations, including youth programs, daily activity programs, holidays, special events, and conference activities.
Essential Duties:
CPR and First Aid Certification.
Education/Experience:
No Prior Experience Or Training Required.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform the duties of the job (e.g., associates may be required to communicate with English-speaking customers or co-workers; manuals for equipment may be in English).

General Purpose:
Performs all recreation duties and activities related to facility operations, including youth programs, daily activity programs, holidays, special events, and conference activities.
Essential Duties:
- Maintain cleanliness of facility operations according to established daily maintenance procedures
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of department programs, events, and activities; answer guest questions regarding such programs
- Record all cash, checks, and charges based on established cash control procedures
- Maintain understanding of operating procedures for pool, bikes, boats, and fitness equipment
- Complete checklists for opening, closing, and daily procedures
- Take direction from the Facility Coordinator, Special Event and Youth Coordinator, and Conference Recreation Coordinator
- Assist in the implementation of programs, youth programs, special events, and conference recreation events
- Provide a safe environment within facilities and activities
- Process recreation reservations as needed
- Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Perform other duties as required
- Frequently stands, uses hands, talks, and hears
- Regularly reaches with hands and arms; may taste or smell
- Occasionally walks, sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls
- Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds
- Frequently works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather)
- Regularly works in outdoor weather conditions
- Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, in high or precarious places, and may come into contact with toxic or caustic chemicals
- Noise level is moderate
