We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Merchandise Manager to support our retail operations. This role plays a key part in shaping the guest experience through exceptional customer service, creative merchandising, inventory controls and seamless shop operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide welcoming, professional service to guests.
- Manage merchandise operations, including:
- Receiving and processing invoices in Golf365 Premiere software.
- Leading monthly inventory counts with departmental staff.
- Keep accurate inventory valuation.
- Designing and maintaining attractive, sales-driven merchandise displays.
- Work closely with assigned Area Retail Manager regarding reporting and assortment
- As needed, attending merchandise and trade shows to place seasonal purchase orders.
- Promoting sales through creative advertising and promotions.
- Support daily golf shop operations, including:
- Booking tee times via Golf365 Premiere Tee Time software.
- Processing payments for merchandise and golf rounds through Golf365 Premiere POS.
- Answering phones and assisting with inquiries.
- Promoting campus programs, events, and activities.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and Publisher for reporting and merchandising support.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
- Team-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude.
- Experience with Golf365 Premiere, Golf Genius, and website administration preferred.
- College degree preferred.
