Silver Creek Valley Country Club in San Jose, CA is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a seasonal Part-Time PM Line Cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
- A Line Cook prepares food using recipes and menu items created by the Head Chef and helps keep the kitchen running smoothly.
- Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations.
- Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks.
- Plating prepared foods based on senior chef’s guidance.
- Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time.
- Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts.
- Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Basic computer skills.

Average knowledge of industrial equipment including range, ovens, slicer, deep fryer and grill.

2-3 years line experience a must.

Culinary degree preferred but not required.
