We are seeking an experienced Lead Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is ideal for a passionate cook who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and is excited to contribute to a member satisfaction–driven environment. As a Lead Line Cook, you will play a key role in food preparation, quality control, and teamwork on the line—particularly at the grill station—while setting an example of professionalism and enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and execute menu items to Esplanade’s high standards of quality and presentation.
Take ownership of the grill position, ensuring consistency and proper cooking techniques.
Assist in training and mentoring junior line cooks, helping to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with food safety regulations.
Support Chef and Sous Chef in daily prep, specials, and seasonal menu changes.
Requirements
3–4 years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen, with strong grill skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A positive, member-focused attitude and commitment to providing an outstanding dining experience.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
