What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Attendant position at Troon?
Hourly Rate: $20/hour
Status: Part time or full time, seasonal
SUMMARY
The laundry attendant will be responsible for monitoring and washing all laundry around the property.
This position will be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness in laundry while
meeting delivery requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Laundry:
● Maintain a minimum inventory of linen for all residences, restaurants, and locker rooms
● Provide assistance to the cleaning department. The requirements for residences and facilities
● Monitor inventory of towels / clothes and cleaning products (including housekeeping amenities
for residences)
● Regularly check the Clubhouse locker rooms and remove / replace dirty laundry when necessary.
● Regular check-in of women's locker room amenities
Contact with guests:
● Maintain a respectful, friendly and helpful attitude when you meet or greet any member or
member guest
● Assist when needed at arrivals / departures and any other guest needs
General:
● Manage workflow in an effective, productive and organized way
● Able to do multiple tasks at the same time
● Regular and reliable attendance
● Incorporate safety practices and rules when you are doing your job
● Maintains professional standards within Juniper Preserve that include but are not limited to:
appearance, interaction with members, associates, club guests, and verbal discussions and written
correspondence. Does not discuss work-related problems with members and guests.
● Maintains a positive and flexible attitude to take on new and different tasks as assigned by the
housekeeping manager, executive housekeeper or supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
In order to accomplish this job satisfactorily, the individual must be able to do each of these essential
areas satisfactorily. Reasonable arrangements can be made for an individual with disabilities to exercise
these functions.
● High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
● Must be able to read and understand written and oral instructions.
● 2 or more years of housekeeping experience is a plus
