Summary:
This role will be responsible for checking in daily play, charging guest and cart fees, cleaning and arranging merchandise displays.
Key Responsibilities:

Uses Point-of-Sale System to check in golfers and sell merchandise.

Greets members and guests as they enter the golf shop and provides luxury service for their every request.

Keeps golf shop clean, neat, and organized at all times.

Restocks the golf shop throughout the shift and prior to end of shift, checking supplies every hour. This includes all supplies.

Keeps the shop clean, free of trash, and presentable.

Has a radio at all times in order to communicate with staff.

Ensures that members and guests are aware of their starting time.

Ensures guests know where areas of the facility are located.

Is of service to guests and members, ensuring they have an enjoyable day while at The Powder Horn.

Ensures members and guests are aware of any facility information, including member programs, green fees, merchandise offerings, food and beverage offerings, and more.

May be asked to cover different and/or other parts of the golf operations duties at any time.
Experience / Education / Certification Requirements:
High school education or its equivalent. Must be able to fluently speak and write the English language. The golf shop is the hub of the facility operation. We are the direct link of communication to all departments and guests. Staff members need to be knowledgeable, organized, aware, friendly, and enthusiastic on a daily basis. We set the tone for the day and provide an atmosphere unlike any other. It is imperative to focus on the following:
- Member and guest interaction
- Tee sheet management
- Golf shop presentation
- Communication with all staff
- Being a team member
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds to waist height.
- Frequent bending, turning, kneeling, and stooping.
- Exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Repetitive motion required including computer entry.
- Must be able to operate a golf cart in a safe manner.
- Normal vision and hearing required.
