Golf Receiver & Storeroom Attendant

BallenIsles Country Club, located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Golf Receiver & Storeroom Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. Pay Range: $18.00 per hour.

This position plays an important role in supporting daily Golf operations by ensuring accurate receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution of golf merchandise, supplies, equipment, and operating materials.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Previous receiving, inventory, warehouse, or golf operations experience is preferred but not required for candidates who are willing to learn.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming golf merchandise, equipment, supplies, and operating materials for accuracy, quality, and condition.
   
• Match purchase orders, invoices, and packing slips while documenting discrepancies and reporting damaged, missing, or incorrect items.
   
• Properly label, organize, and store merchandise and supplies in designated areas.
   
• Receive and process golf shop merchandise, including apparel, accessories, golf equipment, and other retail products.
   
• Assist with organizing and maintaining golf shop backstock and storeroom inventory.
   
• Deliver received products and supplies to the appropriate departments in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and communicate stock levels, shortages, or discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor.
   
• Assist with regular and seasonal inventory counts.
   
• Assist with preparing merchandise and supplies for distribution to Golf Operations, the Golf Shop, practice facilities, and other designated areas.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of merchandise for Golf Member/Guest events.
• Coordinate outgoing shipments, including preparing shipping documentation and packaging materials.
   
• Assist with incoming and outgoing mail, courier deliveries, and interdepartmental distribution.
   
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe storeroom, receiving, and storage areas.
   
• Safely operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and other receiving equipment as needed.
   
• Remove trash, cardboard, and recyclables while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
   
• Assist with moving and organizing golf merchandise, supplies, and equipment throughout the Golf operation.
   
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, loss prevention practices, and inventory control procedures.
   
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
   
• Provide professional and courteous service to internal departments, associates, vendors, and club members when applicable.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support Golf and overall club operations.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in receiving, inventory, warehouse, retail, golf, hospitality, or a related field.
   
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
   
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
   
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
   
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
   
• Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to providing exceptional internal customer service.
   
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Ability to safely handle and move merchandise, supplies, and equipment.

Preferred

• Previous receiving, purchasing, inventory control, warehouse, storeroom, retail, or golf operations experience.
   
• Previous experience working in a country club, golf club, hotel, resort, or hospitality environment.
   
• Knowledge of inventory management software and computerized receiving systems.
   
• Familiarity with golf merchandise, equipment, apparel, and accessories.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
   
• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
   
• Regular bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing as required.
   
• Ability to safely move and organize merchandise, supplies, boxes, and equipment.
   
• Ability to work safely in receiving areas, storage rooms, loading areas, and other Golf operation areas.
• Ability to work outdoors as needed and tolerate varying weather conditions.

Schedule:

This position requires a flexible schedule, including availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs and the Golf operation's schedule.
