Key Responsibilities:
- Assures that all material used by servers is clean and ready for daily operation
- Possesses knowledge of the position of each diner’s chair in the dining rooms and lounges
- Sets the outside line with underliner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins, and other items needed for food delivery
- Organizes plates in the window and matches each one with each ticket to run food to tables
- Sets tables in accordance with Troon Golf standards
- Ensures that each menu item is prepared in the exact detail outlined on each ticket
- Confirms menu items with the chef before delivering if they do not meet exact ticket specifications
- Fills and refills water glasses and removes unused place settings
- Clears dishes from in front of guests upon completion of each course
- Clears and resets tables when guests leave, including changing tablecloths, brushing chairs, placing chairs, replacing silverware, glassware, and napkins
- Assists servers when needed
- Keeps workstations stocked with necessary items and ingredients
- Cleans workstations, takes out trash, and vacuums the dining room
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- Performs other duties as required
- One month related experience or training
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism, cleanliness, and neatness
